   >> Inogen One - Introducing the Portable Oxygen Concentrator to Doctors
OxygenToGo provides short-term rentals of oxygen concentrators to allow your patients to travel with supplemental oxygen. We have partnered with Inogen to offer its Inogen One concentrator. The unit runs perpetually on AC, DC, or batteries for use in remote locations and on airplanes. The device recently received FAA approval for use on commercial airlines, and is a superior option to bulky, inconvenient tanks.

Since its inception, Inogen has been dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of clinically efficacious oxygen technologies.  As an innovator of oxygen technology and products to enhance the lives of patients, we believe it is important and incumbent on any manufacturer to present sound, evidenced-based data to support the use of any oxygen therapy device.

The lack of substantial research in the area of long term oxygen therapy (LTOT) and in particular, oxygen technologies has long made the provision of home LTOT a blend of art and science.  Inogen recognizes that our technology is part of a paradigm shift and that we are leading the industry in changing the provision of LTOT into a new direction.  In doing so, we have made great effort to ensure that this path is based in good clinical science and ultimately, excellent patient care.

Below you will find a number of scientific papers and references, including the work well-known LTOT researchers such as Drs. O’Donahue and Cuvelier, along with new research specific to the Inogen One.  The focus of much of this reference material is the use and clinical efficacy of pulse-dosed oxygen delivery in myriad clinical applications, including sleep.  There is additional material to support the use of oxygen in flight for patients with COPD.

Unlike many other home oxygen devices, the Inogen One was designed and manufactured based on the best science and information available.  Our technology and concepts have been thoroughly tested on the bench and clinically validated though additional original science and work, most of which has been published in peer review journals.

Please take time to review the materials below and feel free to contact us for details on direct shipping to or from a patients home. We look forward to helping you serve your patients better.
